Women of color are up to 3.5x more likely to die from pregnancy-related issues compared to white women.

The vast majority of these deaths (94%) occurred in low-resource settings, and most could have been prevented.

Black babies are 2x more likely to die before their first birthday as compared to white babies.

The Perfect Push Foundation provides scholarships to students of color in the United States pursuing maternal/neonatal care programs and grants to international organizations addressing maternal and infant mortality in under and undeveloped communities.
