In a region with only 30 ophthalmologists for a population of 30 million, this new facility brings advanced care to patients across Mozambique, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.

To ensure the medical team has the best tools available for this life-changing work, Ocular Instruments proudly equipped the hospital with our premier diagnostic and surgical lenses, including the OI-20M, OI-STDM/LR, Ocular Posner 4-Mirror, and OG3MA 3-Mirror lens.

💬 “How to do a fast and steady 360° Gonio exam, and evaluate the peripheral and mid-peripheral retina? Using a 3-mirror lens. But, most of the time, keeping the lens fixated while rotating it is quite challenging. Now, a 3-mirror lens from Ocular Instruments with internal rotation solves the problem. You can keep perfect fixation while doing the 360° exam. Nice.”
