Long before “infrastructure” became an industry, Native and Indigenous peoples were engineers, builders, innovators, healers, and problem-solvers. Through innovations in bridges, watercraft, trail and transportation systems, water management, agriculture, medicine, and more, their knowledge helped shape communities and continues to influence the world we know today.

At KEG, that history carries special meaning. Native American heritage is part of our firm’s story, and we are proud to celebrate the ingenuity, resilience, knowledge, and culture behind that heritage.

This Native American Heritage Month, we recognize the generations who came before us, celebrate Native communities today, and honor contributions whose impact can still be seen all around us.

Please join us in welcoming our newest KEG-er to the crew - Cedric Diefenbaugh! Cedric joins us as an Environmental Planner with more than 8 years of experience in the field. He will assist our clients with NEPA documentation, environmental permitting, noise analysis and reports, and navigating the complex federal and state environmental review processes. When he's not doing his part to save the planet, Cedric enjoys cooking and traveling and even visited Scotland for the first time last year! We are so excited to have Cedric on board.
