It was a pleasure to host the Penn State 2DCC-MIP REU students for a tour of our facility! The 2DCC-MIP —funded by an National Science Foundation (NSF) cooperative agreement— has a Summer Undergraduate Research Program that provides students with an opportunity to experience research within a small team environment reflective of the organizational structure typical of the semiconductor industry. As a company that has also received NSF funding, we value the critical role these programs play in accelerating innovation. We were excited to show how foundational research can lead to real-world impact in medical device development.
