New part goofin’.
Spent the day getting the bulk of the tooling for this one set up and dialed in. Still waiting on a few tools to come in, but figured I’d get ahead for next week while there’s time.
This little hydraulic pump component might not look like much, but it’s got some serious requirements — tight dimensional tolerances, flatness and parallelism specs, and surface finish callouts for sealing.
Once it’s proven out and the rest of the tooling shows up, we’ll be building fixturing to run it as high density as possible on our pallet pool to keep up with the hundreds-per-month demand.
