Huge congratulations go out to David and Sue Morris, and Ronnie Siani for their incredible NHRA Southeast Division 2 Open race this past weekend. With an arm full of the special-edition Diamond Wallys, David won BOTH Super Gas and Super Comp and Sue grabbed the Super Street title Sunday afternoon at Carolina Dragway.

It is never official until the Pop-Tarts are on the dashboard that we know for certain that Jim is indeed on his way to the track.

Jim is almost to Gainesville Raceway and looks forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for the NHRA Southeast Division 2 season kicks off.

Jim will be trackside this week at Gainesville Raceway, supporting racers as the NHRA Southeast Division 2 season officially kicks off. The Baby Gators is one of the premier early-season events east of the Mississippi and has long served as a proving ground for racers getting dialed in for the season ahead.

It’s always great to see so many talented racers and teams come together to start the year. At Weldon, we believe performance is built on reliability, hard work, and dedication—and being at the track to support racers is an important part of our commitment.

Good luck to all racers competing this week. Weldon is proud to support the teams that continue to push the limits of performance.

So look for the black Weldon tent on the midway Thursday morning through Finals on Sunday, and be sure to stop by to say hi to Jim.
