Pressure testing a bunch of heads today and fortunately all passed with no issues. Old guides removed from the BMW M88 head only to go down the rabbit hole of finding 24 replacements when both of my regular sources had less than 24 available 🙄.

BMW M88 head all cleaned up! New retainers, locators, springs, and stem seals straight from BMW in Germany 😲. These heads have so many parts I ran out of room on the bench for more.

12v VR6 head rebuild complete including Supertech valves and spring kit plus Techtonics Tuning 268° cams. Add in a spicy valve job and she’ll be a ripper in a MK2 while making all the right noises.

Slideshow of fixing the worst areas of coolant corrosion on this VR6 head. Change your coolant people. These are common areas of trouble on these heads, particularly the thermostat housing outlet. Send me your head for a rebuild and I can fix it properly so you don’t have to use a whole tube of RTV to prevent a leak.

Series of pictures not in chronological order showing recent work onthis VR6 head. New guides were reamed and honed, seats cut with 4 and 5 angles, stems heights were set, and then the aftermarket valvetrain was measured and adjusted.
