Employee Spotlight: A little bit about those who make us great!

Justin Henry - Fremont, OH, USA

Justin is a lifelong Detroit Lions fan and believes, as many do, that this is the year they will actually make it to the Super Bowl and bring home a victory for the Motor City. After the football season is over, he likes to get away in the spring and summer with his family to historic Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and take in all that this gateway to the Smoky Mountain National Park has to offer. Also on his list of favorites is taking day trips with his kids to places near and far. If he could go anywhere in the world, he would like to visit Venice, Italy, to experience its incredible Venetian cuisine and centuries-old architecture. Being world-renowned for its pasta and fish dishes probably won’t get in the way of his search for his favorite meal item, steak.

He is an avid fitness enthusiast and thinks it would be very interesting to meet actor, bodybuilder, and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and talk about fitness and how he has been and remains successful in everything he pursues while maintaining his blue-collar, down-to-earth attitude about life. Justin has been brought in to BMG to manage the Mill/Turn department, where he will supervise the day-to-day operations. He will tell you that he isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, as evidenced by his first job earlier in life as a farm hand. Although he wanted to be a fireman when he grew up, he thoroughly loves his career with BMG and will strive for 100% efficiency with zero scrap as a perfect day on the job!

BMG is excited to announce that Wouter Roos, who currently heads BMG’s project management department, has been promoted to General Manager of Global BMG GN Products, while retaining his project management responsibilities. He will now also play a key role in driving BMG’s global growth strategies for products, parts, and customer services. He will work with BMG teams across North America and Europe, creating structure and focus with key individuals from both teams.

Jodi Aldrich - Beaverton, MI, USA

Jodi loves football, especially cheering for the Indianapolis Colts and the Detroit Lions. During the fall and winter, you’ll often find her watching games. When she’s not catching football, she enjoys spending time with her daughter. If she could travel anywhere, she’d pick the Hawaiian Islands to try the local food and soak up the warm weather. Since she’s a fan of camping, she’d probably set up a tent on Waikiki Beach and relax by the ocean. Jodi began her career as a teller at Chemical Bank, where she learned important people and project management skills. She now uses these skills as a Production Planner at BMG, helping organize everything needed for smooth operations on the manufacturing floor. Jodi joined BMG just over a year ago and enjoys working with her coworkers. Outside of work, she’s planning a cruise to start exploring the world by sea. Her mother has always inspired her, shaping her strong work ethic and dedication.

We are searching for a Controls Engineer with experience in electrical design and in programming PLCs or motion-controlled systems. This position is based in Beaverton, MI, with hybrid work an option once initial training is complete.

Our Controls Engineers are responsible for designing, programming, updating, and troubleshooting various PLC-based control systems. They are responsible for electrical/controls design modifications to standard and new equipment. We have a distributed team of engineers who collaborate across our sites on thermoforming packaging solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can work in a team environment, can plan, schedule, and problem-solve effectively, and can work independently with little or no supervision.
