of Springfield, Ilinois. "Bud" Vredenburgh bought this yard in 1952. His decision to start his own company proved to be a smart move as the Springfield yard went out of business in the '80's. Bud "rode off into the sunset" as he always used to say, on July 17, 1997. He is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetary in Springfield. We are a business covering one city block, accross the street from local landmark
