"As a first-time boat owner, the thought of drilling holes in my 21-foot Key West to install a T-top was honestly terrifying. I almost talked myself out of it more than once.
But I'm incredibly glad I did.
I chose a 21-foot Key West dual console because I wanted a boat my whole family could enjoy—not just a fishing boat. At the same time, I wanted the functionality and versatility of a real T-top instead of a soft, retractable Bimini.
This Atlantic Towers top has completely transformed my boat. It provides outstanding shade, gives passengers solid handholds throughout the boat, adds valuable overhead storage, and somehow makes a 21-foot boat feel noticeably bigger and more open. It has improved both the appearance and the functionality far beyond what I expected.
As someone with virtually no experience tackling a project like this, I was intimidated. Drilling into a boat for the first time is a nerve-racking experience. But by taking my time and following the instructions, the installation was absolutely achievable—even for a complete beginner.
