Well, after one heck of a weekend, we finally made it home around 1 a.m. The stories from this trip are ones we’ll be telling for a long time.
Huge thank you to everyone who helped us along the way.
• O'Reilly Auto Parts for making sure we had the parts needed to get the Super Duty back on the road.
• Arnulfo Silva for offering us a place to clean up and for leaving Gatorades on the bed of the truck. Small acts of kindness go a long way.
• Tennessee Diesel Repair for helping patch the Jeep tire and getting us on the trail.
Sometimes these trips don’t go as planned, but it’s a reminder that there are still great people willing to help complete strangers when they need it most
