ATC System Polyurethane Synchronous Timing Belt; Self Tracking Product Update

Optibelt released our new modular polyurethane synchronous timing belts in 2021. This innovative product allows for almost limitless configurations on site. Have a damaged cleat? Modify the product and need new cleats? That is no problem with Optibelt’s ATC-System!

In keeping with Optibelt’s tradition of innovation, we now offer the ATC-System with tracking guides. These guides help keep the belt in perfect alignment on the production line. Even better, the track guide(s) do not affect any of ATC’s customization options.

Currently we are offing tracking guide options on ATC10K6 in widths of 50mm and 100mm. As with all ATC-System belts, they are available in linear and spliced/welded endless.

Optibelt will be sponsoring and exhibiting at NIBA’s Annual Convention in 2022. The convention this year is September 27th-30th at the JW Marriot Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio Texas. Optibelt sales, engineering and executive team members will be on hand to meet with attendees and answer questions.

Optibelt will be celebrating its 150th anniversary by hosting at the Manufacturer’s Hospitality Hub Happy Hour Thursday September 29th from 5:30 to 7pm. Please join us to celebrate our anniversary!

Optibelt will be showing our new fabrication capabilities at our newest polyurethane facility in Bartlett IL. This facility can fabricate belting with a variety of backing, cleats, custom labelling, and custom machining options. We will also be detailing our complete polyurethane product line-up available, which includes Alpha Power & Alpha Torque, Alpha Flex (Endless), Alpha V (Spliced), Pin-Join, and ATC-System (modular) synchronous timing belts.

Optibelt completes the 1000th Polyurethane order in Bartlett IL

Optibelt reached a notable milestone in its new custom fabrication polyurethane timing facility in Bartlett IL. The facility began full manufacturing operations in December 2021 and has just completed the 1000 polyurethane customer order manufactured on July, 20th 2022. Eduardo Streinesberger, the VP of US Urethane Division, stated “This milestone is emblematic of the strong momentum we are seeing in the industry and our growing customer base. I could not be more proud of the our dedicated staff that have made this possible.”
Optibelt’s Urethane division fabricates polyurethane synchronous timing belts and specialty belting with customizations such as: custom spliced lengths, backings, cleats, and belts with “In field” mechanical joining systems.

🥳 Celebrating with Dreisilker Electric Motors Inc.
We were invited to celebrate Leo Dreisilker’s 50 years at Dreisilker Electric Motors. Optibelt has been doing business with Dreisilker Electric Motors since our start of operations in the USA 40 years ago.

Leo has visited us many times in Hoexter during the Hannover Fair. He has been an excellent customer and a good friend from Optibelt.

Under his leadership, Leo has grown the company into one of the largest and most modern 73,000 sq. foot electric motor sales and repair centers in the USA. Congratulations Leo and thank you for the invitation !

Optibelt Corporation participated with (see in the picture from left to right ) Karl Asendorf, Eduardo Streinesberger, Louis Giles and Joel Wolbert at the NIBA-The Belting Association convention.

We launched our new US fabrication for special timing belts. We draw a lot of interest from distributors for our US fabricated products as the good quality, fabrication options, improved lead times and technical service are an important factor for their purchasing decisions.
OMH USA presented the beta version of the PU belt identifier which got an excellent feedback from the customers as we will be the first company offering such an option.
