Generator Connection

We Are Your Home and Business Power Source
Serving New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. The Generator Connection was started on March 3, 1999. since 1975.

Wayne Noyes, the owner, had been in the electrical contracting business Noyes Electric Inc. In February of 1998 the New England area had just experienced the worst ice storm in recent history. Power was out for weeks in some areas. It was then that Wayne Noyes got an idea, if someone was to put together a package, installed, of a generator, power cord, transfer switch, power outlet box and service everything they sell there might be a good market for such a service. Wayne, thought about it and did some research, and found no other company in the business of selling, installing and servicing, portable & standby generator systems. on March 3, 1999 "The Generator Connection" was born. Wayne put together a package, a 5kw portable generator, 6 circuit manual transfer switch. power cord and power outlet box and put a small ad in the local newspaper. The business started to grow. Since the beginning, The Generator Connection has continued to grow. Now with thousands of generators in the residential, commercial, municipal and health care fields and the experience to see what should and shouldn't be in both a standby automatic and a portable generator system. We have designed and developed our own model of a 12KW Standby generator as well as a 6KW Tri Fuel unit with a customized enclosure both named "The New Englander Edition"™️ We continue to design and develop top quality products for our valued customers. We look forward to a bright future for the generator business, as the transmission wires for the grid system is getting older and replacement for upgrades to the grid is less likely due to the cost of such replacements. The Generator Connection has always strived for quality product and excellent service. We look forward to the opportunity to help you with all of your generator needs.

⚡ Don’t Be Left in the Dark!

09/11/2026

Today, The Generator Connection pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 innocent lives taken that day, the first responders who ran toward danger, the brave men and women who served in the aftermath, and the families and communities forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to Remember. Honor. Never Forget.

May we always remember the courage, compassion, and unity that brought people together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
