This is another product I came out with several years ago. It's just a simple cradle to keep those welding bottles from rolling around in the truck bed. I make them to hold either one or two bottles at a time.

They are designed to hold all common welding bottle sizes. I've used them from 80cf to 330cf tanks and they work great. They have slots on the end plates for ropes or straps for extra security.

I sell these as a weld together DIY kit or fully assembled. Choice of aluminum or steel.

I had a little help from Sunspot Welding on this one.

As a fabricator, I am always thinking of ways to make my job easier, faster, and safer.

Most fixture table "stops" are made on a lathe to fit into a 5/8" hole on the table. They work great until you get a little spatter in them or deform the edge of the hole with a good hammer blow.

These new stops that I developed have a triangular bottom, allowing 3 good points of contact in the same 5/8" hole. The 3 points of contact is important because now you can avoid those areas where spatter has accumulated or the hole is deformed.

I'll have these for sale in the near future after some adjustments.

Here’s a job from a while back. It really highlights why I lean so hard on 3D modeling and printing in the shop. The blue pieces are printed fixtures I designed to hold everything in position during assembly. Using them, each assembly went together in 22 minutes with perfect repeatability.

We had an aluminum livestock trailer in for some minor repairs a couple weeks ago. The cattle show in Louisville wasn't going to wait either. In just a couple hours we had them back up and running. Being available for the people in our community is important to me. Some jobs can wait and some need immediate attention.

One thing I love about 3D modeling is how it lets me work out problems and test ideas before I ever cut the first piece of metal. If you watch the video, you’ll notice I tweak a few key features along the way as I run into issues or think of cleaner solutions.

This little project is a rugged, simple toolbox for our farm truck. Built to fit our needs. Custom, one-off pieces are my specialty. If you need something designed and fabricated, I can build just about anything to fit your application.

I added a new product to my stored Educational page a couple days ago. These are great if you are practicing for any kind of GMAW, SMAW, or FCAW test. These plates come pre tacked and use prequalified joint configuration B-U2a-GF in AWS D1.1. I'll add more tests as they are requested. $30.00 per test plus shipping or local pickup
