SUMMARY
Work in fast-paced environment to acquire new customers, increase the revenue growth for an organization, and make sure all aspects of the sales orders meet requirements of the client and the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Answer incoming sales call
- Price and process quotations and orders for materials, material multi-step in-house and outside processing and deliveries
- Coordinate internal functions of quotations and orders across all internal departments
- Process related documentation
- Manage customer service issues
- Follow-up on quotes, orders and processes
- Place marketing calls to potential and existing accounts

EXPERIENCE
- 2 years sales or customer service experience preferred. Industrial or metal experience a plus.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong math skills
- Strong computer skills
- Able to interpret basic mechanical/shop drawings
- Clear, concise, telephone and face-to-face communication skills
- Highly organized, accurate and neat
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Friendly and helpful personality
- English & Spanish speaking

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Office/desk work with substantial telephone and computer use.

Job Responsibilities

- Review paperwork for what has to be loaded and verify piece counts
- Verify that material you load matches what is on your paperwork
- Once material is loaded make sure you initial and date what you physically put on the truck
- Using overhead crane, load trucks in proper delivery sequence
- When required, move truck to next staging area.
- Check dock for any items not loaded
- Notify Foreman of any missing items
- If load is heavy make sure you take it to the scale to weigh it
- Make sure the truck is loaded safely to hit the road
- Clean work area
- Other duties as assigned

Skills Requirements

- Knowledge of products and warehouse operations
- Strong shop math – must be able to read tape measure
- Able to read and understand work orders
- Experience on overhead cranes
- Must be able to jockey trucks thru the warehouse
