Looking for a lumber deal for your small project? We have our discount bin filled up.

We take pride in the quality of our lumber. That means we take the crooked stuff and shift it to a discount pile, so you don’t have to dig for 29 minutes for a straight piece like at the Big Box.

We have an open, seasonal part time position at Lossing’s Power Sports and Lossing Building Center. We have some flexibility on total hours and long term opportunity, but the role does require weekends.

We are a bit flexible with skill set, as this is part of a larger team. However, a day could look like:

1 - Arranging the side by side rentals in the morning
2 - Assisting guests with signing paperwork and showing them the best trails to ride
3 - Helping retail operations in the building center. This may entail helping customers load lumber or driving a forklift
4 - During co-workers’ lunch hour, take inbound telephone calls, and greet guests at the dealership
5 - Putting away a unit of lumber
6 - Sharpening a customer’s lawnmower blades
7 - Cleaning the shop floors
8 - Power-washing the dirty side by sides and preparing for next day rentals

As the thief was attempting to sell our stolen goods, an honest man stole them back and returned them to us. The thief was able to sell some of them before we got them back. Seems the thief also shops at Dollar General 🤩

The Babbitt Police Department 👮‍♂️ will issue a citation. The owner doesn’t want the social media team release more videos and photos 🤷‍♂️

We even had the mugshots of the thief from previous arrests ready to share. Unfortunately the owner of our shop is way too nice. Apparently jail hasn’t deterred this guy in the past, so we were ready to try other avenues. Womp womp.

Last night at 3:35am, a gentleman in his bicycle came to our business and stole $300 worth of Torx screws. We had these trustingly sat outside for one of our valuable contractors that starts work before we open. While the Babbitt Police department do their investigation, we are not posting the video of the idiot.

Let’s just say that we routinely get bicycle traffic at all hours of the night. What are they doing? Looking for not completely smoked cigarette butts to take and resmoke. Talk about disgusting. But we digress.

Because word travels fast, we would love to have someone that probably already knows who this was recover the goods for us. Alternatively, we are hopeful it doesn’t take the police executing a search warrant in town to get back $300 in screws. Although we would love the sheriffs office to kick down the front door. Maybe we could then sell them a new front door for their house? Maybe we can recover the screws AND sell a nice new front door.

Please don’t buy 3 1/8” Torx screws from a career criminal in Babbitt. You might become an accessory to a crime. Or if you are a good person and want a small reward, please go get them from him and return to us.

Running a small business can be difficult and yes, the $300 loss still sucks.
