Experienced Press Brake Set Up / Operator

Full-time job duties and Responsibilities:
* Following Press Brake process standard operating procedure
* Accurately entering quantities into the computer
* Using inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan
* Making small, mathematically calculated, angle corrections
* Orienting the part correctly Picking tooling, as identified in the CNC program, from tooling inventory
* Loading tooling in the order identified in the CNC program
* Reading the print fully to understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness and specialinstructions
* Reading job order for special instructions
* Wearing proper protective equipment, as directed by equipment or process
* Understanding safety requirements in every area, and complying
* Using material data sheets effectively

Skills and Specifications:
* CNC interface
* Ability to read blueprints, and measuring tools
* Basic geometry concepts able to calculate negative and positive adjustments
* Basic computer skills manufacturing software programs

Excellent problem-solving skills.
* High standard of attention to detail.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize work in an effective manner.

Education and Qualifications:

Sheet Metal Manufacturing Engineer & NC Programmer Position Available:

Qualifications
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication (.02-.187 steel, aluminum, stainless pre-plate, and copper) is required.
• Attention to detail & the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must.
• Must be proficient in using SolidWorks or Cadkey and Profab or Striker
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and solve problems with fabrication design.
Responsibilities
• Analyzes customer design/CAD and specifications to determine feasibility of design and make necessary adjustment to CAD for standard sheet metal fabrication practices.
• Create NC program, detailed drawing packages, bills of material and job router in order for the fabricators, welders, and assemblers to accurately fabricate/build the parts/assemblies.
• Address/resolve manufacturing, design, or quality issues to ensure continuous, on-going improvement of processes/methods.
• Acts as technical resource/support for fabrication and sales team.
Formal Education and Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years industry-related experience preferred.
• Solid Works Sheet Metal Certifications are a plus.

Grinder / Paint Prep Position Available:

Summary:
Operate handheld grinders and sanders to remove excess materials or burrs from internal and external sheet metal surfaces to prep for painting and/or powder coating.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect, feel, and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications.
• Wipe surfaces clean.
• Place finished parts on pallets; set aside defective parts.
• Check parts with the Inspector to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
• Fill out job travelers, time sheets, inspection documents and any other paperwork associated with the part.
• Repair and maintain all equipment used.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
• Experience in the operation of hand grinders (pads, disc, belt)
• Experience in the operation of hand sanders
• Minimum of 6-months sheet metal experience
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced metal/fabrication shop environment.
