I told him he had to wait a full 24 hours for the concrete to set before he could even think about attempting a slam dunk.

But by 6:30 the next morning, there he was already outside, with Dad behind the camera, ready to capture the moment. 🏀

The rim was set at 8 feet 5 inches, and after a quick breath, he went for it.

And that moment wasn’t just about a dunk.

It was about a summer of showing up, working hard, and never giving up. Playing in a league twice a week. Three weeks of basketball camp and training twice a week. And all the hours in between working for Tri-Town.

While most kids were soaking up a carefree summer, he was building something strength, confidence, discipline, and memories that will last a lifetime.

So when he finally took off for that rim, Dad wasn’t just watching a kid try to dunk.

He was watching his son reap the rewards of every early morning, every practice, every long day, and every ounce of effort he put in.

And yes… Dad was pretty proud.

And just like that, every chore became a workout, and every time I touched a basketball, I pictured that brand-new hoop in the driveway.

Dad said, “We’ll see.”

So this summer, I worked for more than just a basketball hoop. I worked for that moment when Dad could look at me and say, “You earned it.”

🔥 WHY OUR FIREWOOD PRICES HAVE INCREASED 🔥

We want to be transparent with our customers about one of the biggest factors driving firewood prices higher fuel costs.

⛽ Diesel fuel is currently sitting around $5.79 per gallon.

Diesel touches nearly every part of getting firewood from the woods to your home. We have logs delivered to our yard and then cut the wood with chainsaws ,split the wood, load it into our tumbler with a front end loader and then deliver with our trucks. Every part of this process is done using diesel fuel.

When diesel climbs this high, the cost of producing and delivering every cord goes up significantly.
We are doing everything we can to keep our current firewood prices steady for as long as possible, but if fuel costs continue to rise, customers should expect another price increase heading into the fall.

We know nobody likes price increases, and neither do we. Our goal is to remain competitive while continuing to provide dependable service and quality firewood.

If you're planning to purchase firewood this year, ordering sooner rather than later may help you lock in current pricing before fall increases take effect.
