The EPA Administrator, Gina McCarthy, signed the Definition of Solid Waste final rule on December 10, 2014, and it was published in the Federal Register (FR) on January 13, 2015. The rule went into effect federally on July 13, 2015.

NEW Proposed Effluent Guidelines for the Steam Electric Power Generating Category

EPA is proposing to amend the effluent limitations guidelines and standards for the Steam Electric Power Generating category (40 CFR Part 423). A proposed rule was published on June 7, 2013. The public comment period closed on September 20, 2013.
