Title: Hourly Lab Assistant Position Fall 2021
Location: ACC Welding Technology Department - Riverside Campus
Job Description: Duties include checking out tools in toolroom. Clean & maintain labs, Check gases and consumables and stock as necessary, assist students and instructors with tools & equipment.
Schedule: Fri & Sat 7:30am -3:30pm (No more than 19hour/week)
How to Apply: Applications are available in the Riverside Welding Dept. toolroom. Return applications to toolroom no later than July 30, 2021.

If you live in Austin don't miss this relief grant opportunity! If you are a creative or work adjacent to creatives, you are eligible to apply. Application Closes this Friday, August 28 at 5pm sharp!
What is creative adjacent? Examples:
- Bartenders at performance venues or locally owned movie theaters
- Admin or development staff at arts or heritage organizations
- Production staff for theaters or festivals
- Programming staff or booking staff for venues, festivals, events
- Event coordinators that mostly work on creative events (not weddings)
- Journalists that cover creatives (film, music, books, games, etc...)

We just finished our face to face Summer 2020 session last week with great success. We also said goodbye to the man, the myth, the legend Dr. Warren Donworth who retired after teaching with us for over 35 years. We will miss his wit, his wisdom, and his wise-cracks.

Our student Mike Jones running 5G uphill in our Advanced Pipe Welding -- ASME Section IX class. This is an upper level class with a few prerequisites along the way.
