Got safety up so no one has an accidental fall until we come back for the actual railing.
Owners are going with stainless steel cable railing for these stairs so I really can’t wait to see the final result!

We had little to no blueprints to work with so we had to heavily rely on our professional experience and expertise when it came down to the details of what makes the true aesthetics of this intended design.
It is a truly priceless feeling being able to make something out of nothing!

Moving along with the floating switchback stairs out on Alguno Rd.
Got the structural iron locked in place under the house and moving up inside the house to transform into the centerpiece of the home. 🏡👨🏽‍🏭⚒️

Thorogood Shoes boots are some of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve put on and the only ones I trust my life to walk the iron with day in and out!

Detail work finished out for the structural phase at Alguno.

Almost 40 weldable truss hangers set and welded to across the 3 steel beams for every truss supporting the 2nd floor. Along with a couple custom built saddles created by Monreal Ironhouse for the wood LVL beams to support the 2nd floor stair landing.

Onto begin the structural phase for the floating stairs!

Lots of mental work put behind making this happen and extremely glad it worked out how it did. Now on to the detailing following the beginning of the floating stair install here!
