Southern A&E was proud to be on hand for last week’s groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the upcoming Additions to East Jackson Elementary School and Additions & Renovations to East Jackson Middle School! 🎉

We’re excited to be part of these projects and look forward to helping create improved learning environments for students, teachers, and staff in the East Jackson community. We can’t wait to see these projects take shape!

Following last week’s groundbreaking, we’re excited to share a closer look at the new Callaway High School Performing Arts Center 🌟

The new 27,478 sq. ft Performing Arts Center will feature 638 seats, a spacious lobby with concessions, a 2,253 sq. ft gallery, and a 3,527 sq. ft stage designed to support a variety of performances and events. The facility will also include a large workshop and a balcony equipped with sound and lighting controls, creating a versatile space for both performers and audiences.

Southern A&E was honored to attend the first-ever Rome & Floyd County College Send-Off Event! 🎉

Steve McCune joined the celebration to support students as they begin an exciting new chapter. In addition to receiving generous donations from local companies, students had the opportunity to connect with alumni, hear from college representatives, and gather valuable resources to help them prepare for the start of the fall semester.

Last week, our team came together to collect school supplies for the Early County and Terrell County school systems. ✏️🚌🍎

Thanks to everyone who participated, we were able to deliver the donations and help support local students as they get ready for the new school year! We're grateful for the opportunity to give back to the communities we serve.

Please join us in welcoming Julvian Cattledge to the Southern A&E team! 🎉

Born and raised in Starkville, Mississippi, Julvian joins us as a Project Manager with a strong creative foundation and a passion for thoughtful, practical design. He earned his degree in Architectural Design from Mississippi State University before making his move to Georgia in 2024.

Julvian’s architectural background is shaped by creativity, problem-solving, and a deep appreciation for how spaces impact the people who use them. His design philosophy is rooted in the belief that “God is in the details” — that every decision, no matter how small, has the potential to shape the overall experience of a space.
Outside of work, Julvian enjoys creating music, working out, and playing sports — especially basketball.

We’re excited to have Julvian on board and look forward to the impact he’ll make at Southern A&E!

We’re pleased to welcome Korine Dorval as she begins her full-time role with Southern A&E! 🎉

A recent graduate of Kennesaw State University, Korine earned her degree in May after spending the past three years with Southern A&E as a part-time Architectural Intern. During that time, she gained valuable hands-on experience and became an integral part of our team.

Now stepping into the role of Project Manager, Korine is excited to begin this next chapter and continue growing professionally alongside the Southern A&E team.
