Come check out some sweet trophies! Bring your custom cars, trucks, hot rods, and rat rods to the Shakin' in the Shell car show this Saturday in Shell K**b! There will be vendors, live music, food, and even a beer garden. This event is going to be huge, and you won’t want to miss it! We’ve got six custom trophies and 12 plaques being judged by people from out of state, so everything will be totally fair. Big thanks to Super C Media Blasting and Powder Coating, Gary at Adrenaline Apparel & Design, and myself for making these one-of-a-kind awards happen!

That project is finally finished! It seems like outdoor mobile work always happens during a heatwave. Scott Hunnell and I fixed four beam legs that had rusted through, with some even buckling and dropping up to 6 inches. We installed about 70 beam clips for the contractor's new roof layout and added or replaced 11 roof purlins. Hopefully, the rest of the work happens when it's cooler out!

The steeple renovation project for a church in Purdy was finalized a few weeks ago in our shop. I was initially consulted regarding the repair of the finial ball; however, after plastic blasting the century-old steeple, we determined that an alternative approach was necessary and opted to replace the ball with a cross. The steeple material was exceptionally thin, likely 26 to 29 gauge, and featured original lead soldering topped with galvanization, which made the restoration process quite challenging.

Scott Hunnell and I successfully completed this project for Stephen's Corner yesterday in Wentworth. The client requested a lockable door and what I have been referring to as a "cage," designed to safeguard the historic stone from the original building while still allowing it to be visible to all visitors. I believe we achieved this perfectly. This building is currently undergoing a significant renovation. I eagerly anticipate visiting it once it reopens.

This unique prototype may go into small limited production soon. In December, I was approached with an inquiry regarding my aluminum welding capabilities and my interest in fabricating this prototype. The project originated from a father whose five-year-old son, who has a disability, experienced significant improvement in mobility and balance through equine therapy. Initially, the father created a makeshift "pony" using a child's stroller, PVC pipe, and a saddle to support his son's progress. This device was utilized whenever they ventured out or even within their home. As his son outgrew the original setup, the father sought to develop a more robust, adjustable, and portable solution. Following trials and collaboration with his father, the "Eagle" was conceived, named after the child's original makeshift device. Presented here is the inaugural model, "Lincoln's Eagle."

This commitment extends from the integrity of our welds to the meticulous detailing of grinding and finishing, regardless of the project's scope. The accompanying column bases, recently fabricated, are intended to replace corroded units for a local business. (Please note that post-powder coating, internal, and installation photographs are not available at this time.)
