Thanks for Making Demo Day 2026 a Huge Success!

Wow. What a day!

A huge thank you to the more than 300 customers, vendor partners, welding professionals, educators, and students who joined us for Weldstar's 17th Annual Demo Day & Open House at our Logansport, Indiana location. The beautiful weather, great conversations, and outstanding turnout made this one of our best events yet.

The best part of the day was watching the welding community come together. Customers, students, educators, vendor partners, and Weldstar team members spent the afternoon exchanging ideas, building relationships, and celebrating an industry we're all passionate about. Those conversations and connections are what Demo Day is really all about.

One of the biggest attractions of the day was the return of Kirk Ho**er's underwater welding demonstration. Watching live underwater welding inside the custom-built tank gave visitors a unique look at a specialized trade that few get to see up close.

It was exciting to see the number of students and future welders who attended. Investing in the next generation of skilled trades professionals is something we're passionate about, and seeing students engage with industry experts and cutting-edge equipment was one of the highlights of the day.

Of course, no Weldstar Demo Day would be complete without great food. The BBQ lunch was a crowd favorite, and the raffle prizes and giveaways kept the excitement going throughout the afternoon.

The turnout, engagement, and support from our customers, vendor partners, schools, and students made the day what it was. We appreciate everyone who took the time to join us and contribute to another successful Demo Day.

Thank you for spending part of your day with us. We're already looking forward to Demo Day 2027!

Weldstar Recognizes Carrie Niles for Her Service to the IWDC Marketing Committee

We'd like to take a moment to recognize Weldstars Carrie Niles, who recently completed ten years of service on the IWDC Marketing Committee.

Being part of an organization like IWDC is about more than just business. It's about building relationships, exchanging ideas, and working together to help independent welding and gas distributors succeed.

Carrie has been part of that effort for the past ten years, bringing her experience, knowledge, and dedication to the committee while proudly representing Weldstar.

Investing in the Next Generation of Skilled Trades

Weldstar is proud to support agricultural education and the future of skilled trades through our partnership with the Georgetown-Ridge Farm FFA Chapter.

Recently, Weldstar Technical Representative Clyde Bradford from our Danville location had the honor of presenting the Outstanding Agricultural Welding Student Award to Hunter Meeker and Dane Hemker.

FFA is more than agriculture. Founded in 1928, the organization helps students develop leadership skills, personal growth, and career success through hands-on education and real-world experiences. Today, FFA continues to prepare the next generation of leaders, innovators, and skilled professionals who will help shape the future of agriculture, manufacturing, and the trades.
