On January 20th we lost a great friend and coworker, Cameron Brown. JW Fab will be closed at noon on January 30th to attend Cam's memorial service.

JW Fabrication is hiring a sheet metal shop apprentice/helper. A candidate must be willing to help other team members and learn operation of a fiber laser, CNC press brakes, hydraulic shear, forklifts and horizontal bandsaw. We are willing to train the right candidate but a background and interest in metal manufacturing and fabrication would be preferred. MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER AND WILLING TO LEARN!! Must have reliable transportation, willing to work 40hr+ per week, regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Pay depending on experience, paid holidays , IRA after 6 months and vacation after 1 year. I had some fu***ng piece of s**t break into one of my shops last night and make off with about $10k worth of tools. I know it’s a long shot but here a couple of the bigger items if anyone sees them for sale please let me know, especially if you see them together. The spot welder is a specialty item that not many people would be interested in. Along with the welder and mag drill they got the following:
-Kobalt electrical tool bag with lots of Klein tools and electrical components
-Dewalt 20v impact, hammer drill, grinder, sawzall
- craftsman 200ish + pc socket set with case
-lots of vise grips

JW Fab is looking to add to our team. We have an entry level position open to help our Laser operator. Duties would include loading and unloading sheets and parts onto the Laser, running a forklift, sawing, possibly delivery and any other tasks that may come up. Pay depends on experience and candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis. Paid holidays, sick time and retirement benefits. Its official, the Laser is up and running and we have shifted most of our production to this machine. I’m looking to sell my torchmate table to clear some space. The only issue to note is the bearing slide for the etching head is stuck from not using it. I have a brand new slide assembly but it needs installed. Still fully operational and in production at the moment. Should be done with it within 2 weeks or less

You can check out many videos of it running on this page and I’d also be happy to take your dxf and make a video of me programming it and cutting your part to prove its full functionality.

They finally let us jump behind the wheel today, The guys were giddy like school girls playing with the new toy. We also started getting the new hoist in place for loading the table.
