Morton and is one of the oldest clubs in our area. As with most Rotary Clubs, the movers and shakers of the Auburndale community, business leaders, and public officials, are very much involved in the local membe

rship. Things HAPPEN when you involve the Rotarians. You will see the Auburndale Rotary Butterfly Garden in the Downtown Park. and workout equipment in the Van Fleet Trail sponsored by the Auburndale Rotary Club. Annual financial support is provided to Polk Training Center for the Handicap, Miss Auburndale Softball, and Auburndale Scouts. Overall, local emphasis has been on SCOUTS, YOUTH, AND LITERACY.

Across Zones 33/34, women are changing what leadership looks like in Rotary.

They are leading clubs, creating new ideas, mentoring the next generation, serving boldly, showing up, and taking action.

And we want to celebrate them.

The Rotary Zones 33/34 Public Image Team is creating a special Rotary Revolution video, for zone summit in Williamsburg, Va and we want YOUR photos of the incredible women who make Rotary stronger.

Post your favorite photos of women in Rotary in the comments belowโ€ฆ serving, leading, laughing, traveling, volunteering, mentoring, celebrating, and being true People of Action.

Maybe itโ€™s your club president.

Maybe itโ€™s a mentor, a friend, a district leader, or someone whose passion for service inspires everyone around her.

Please include her name, Rotary club, and district in the comments, if available.

We want to tell this story through the faces of the women who are moving Rotary forward.

Because the Rotary Revolution isnโ€™t coming.

Itโ€™s already happening.

And women are helping lead the way.

Hats off to our wonderful Rotarian!

Today weโ€™re proud to shine a spotlight on driver ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ž ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก, whose commitment to service has been a lifelong calling. ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ
Bernie has volunteered with Meals on Wheels for ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐๐š๐ฌ๐œ๐จ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ, after previously volunteering with Meals on Wheels for ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ค ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐Ÿฅฐ

For Bernie, volunteering simply comes naturally. When asked what first inspired him to get involved, he shared that volunteering is ๐’โ€ and that he loves helping people. ๐Ÿค

Bernie typically delivers once a week, stepping in whenever needed. ๐Ÿš™๐Ÿฝ๏ธ His delivery days usually take about 1ยฝ hours, but the time he spends with our clients means much more than simply dropping off a meal.

There isnโ€™t just one client visit that stands out to Bernie because, as he puts it, ๐ง๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐ข๐ฆ. ๐Ÿ’• One important lesson he has learned from the seniors he serves is something we can all remember: ๐ƒ๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐›๐ž ๐š๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐š๐ฌ๐ค ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ. ๐Ÿค

When he isnโ€™t volunteering, you may find him ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐š๐ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ŸŽถ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐œ๐ฒ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž ๐Ÿ๏ธโ€”but no yard work, if he can help it! ๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŒฑ

Today was a wonderful morning after a holiday weekend to meet our guests and hear from OUR S4TL youth leaders and the experience they gained. Our Guest speaker and Member Spotlight was our own Rotarian Katie Ashmore, Principal of Caldwell Elementary who gave us insight to her passion for education and her school. They have achieved many goals and still keep aiming for the PLOT! Congratulations on the "B".
