The Rotary Club of Auburndale meets on Tuesday mornings @ Century 21 @ 304 East Park Street in Auburndale. The Rotary Club of Auburndale was started in 1923 by founding President, James C. Morton and is one of the oldest clubs in our area. As with most Rotary Clubs, the movers and shakers of the Auburndale community, business leaders, and public officials, are very much involved in the local membe

rship. Things HAPPEN when you involve the Rotarians. You will see the Auburndale Rotary Butterfly Garden in the Downtown Park. and workout equipment in the Van Fleet Trail sponsored by the Auburndale Rotary Club. Annual financial support is provided to Polk Training Center for the Handicap, Miss Auburndale Softball, and Auburndale Scouts. Overall, local emphasis has been on SCOUTS, YOUTH, AND LITERACY.

Today's meeting was our own member's sharing their passion for service in their careers. Dr. Danielle DeConcillio, an educator of Adult Education, shared with heartfelt pride the accomplishments of her students recent graduation!

CPT Brian Russo, of the Polk County Sheriff's office, shared his passion for his career and responsibilities of his service protecting the safety and well being of our county.

President-Elect Dee Matteo shared upcoming service projects in the coming month with the Auburndale Library reading program and Community 4th of July Celebration.

We hope that you will join us for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, celebration, and Rotary tradition at the Rotary District 6890 Installation Gala on Saturday, June 27. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Auburndale, this special event honors the installation of District Governor-elect Linda Johnson and incoming Club President Dolores Matteo of the Rotary Club of Auburndale.

The evening begins with a Cash Bar and Social Hour at 5:30 PM, featuring light hors d’oeuvres, live music by a talented trio, and a roaming photographer capturing memories throughout the night. Guests will then enjoy a lavish Buffet Dinner at 6:30 PM featuring Chicken Cordon Bleu, Vegetarian Lasagna, and pre-carved Prime Rib.

Serving as emcee for the evening is Bobby Green, with special guest speaker Grady Judd, Polk County Sheriff and fellow Rotarian, bringing his signature insight and humor to the celebration.

Celebrate leadership, service, and the beginning of a new Rotary year with friends and fellow Rotarians from across the district at this elegant and inspiring gala evening.
