Another great septic tank installation by one of our hard-working customers!
This job has three traffic rated tanks each with a 1000 gallon liquid capacity. The tank in the upper left corner of the photo is a grease trap. It receives flow from the restaurant kitchen sinks and dishwasher only. That allows more time for the effluent to cool and for oil and grease to separate from the wastewater becoming “trapped” in the tank by a baffle system. The clarified effluent is then combined with flows from toilets and other fixtures at the inlet of the first septic tank at the center of the photo.
All the access points on these tanks are brought to grade for easy inspection and pump out. Septic system for restaurants have to be designed to handle high strength wastewater and be properly maintained or they will fail prematurely.
Often times in excavation people only see the end all product.
These tanks were a daunting task to set. Battling unsuitable materials and a substantial amount of ground water, also existing utilities.
The team executed this project with exact precision! Well done 👍
