Manufacturing firm, omniFAB, Inc. will be expanding its machining capabilities and project capacity with the acquisition of Westwood Manufacturing.
omniFAB, Inc. chairman, Erik Cullen, welcomes the Auburn-based organization and its staff to be a part of omniFAB Inc., expressing, “Given Westwood’s long history of quality and performance, it was a natural extension of our business. With the combined capacity and capabilities of the two firms we will be better able to meet our current and future customers’ needs.”
The Westwood Manufacturing acquisition will double the capacity of omniFAB, Inc., which is pursuing additional acquisitions in the U.S. in support of our customers’ needs and company growth.

omniFAB LLC. December 2016 has been eventful at omniFAB, this week we took delivery of our largest vertical machining center – a HAAS VF-12/50. This massive CNC mill has a 155” travel to accommodate some of the largest parts we produce for the aerospace and UAV markets. Our new HAAS VF-12 hosts a 50-taper geared-head, 30 hp vector drive, and runs at 10,000 rpm. We are excited to make use of our latest machine addition moving into the new year.
