We’re Closing Our Doors

Hey y’all, it’s John from On The Plains Bin Cleaning.

This isn’t easy to say, but after a lot of thought and prayer, we’ve made the decision to step away from the business. Our last day of service will be April 30th, and we won’t be renewing subscriptions beyond this month.

We’re currently exploring the option of selling the business or at least our equipment. If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out—we’d love to see this continue under someone else’s care.

This journey has been full of challenges—between rising costs, equipment breakdowns, and being a one-rig operation, keeping things running smoothly has been tough. On top of that, life has pulled us in new directions, and we’ve realized how important it is to protect our time, peace, and presence with our families.

To all of our amazing customers: THANK YOU. We’ve loved serving you and getting to know so many of you over the years. You’ve made this whole thing worth it.

To anyone with cans scheduled for cleaning this month—we’ve got you covered. And if we aren’t able to service your cans before the end of the month and you’ve got credit on your account, we’ll issue a full refund.

🚨 Schedule Update 🚨

Due to the threat of snow and ice this week, we’re rescheduling all bin cleanings from this week to next. If you were on our schedule this week, you will have seen a text or email from us earlier. Safety is our top priority, and pulling heavy equipment in these conditions poses a risk to our driver and others on the road. Additionally, freezing temperatures can make bins more prone to cracking when handled by our hydraulic arms, and we want to avoid any damage to your cans.

Running a small operation comes with its challenges, and sometimes unforeseen issues like mechanical setbacks or illnesses, especially with so much going around this season, can cause delays.

Thanks for staying patient with us while we’ve been burning the midnight oil this week guys… Murphy’s Law has been in full effect for us the past couple weeks with our equipment going down. Sometimes with only one truck, unfortunately, if something goes down, all we can do is overnight parts, fix things as quickly as possible, and try to reschedule as little as possible. Some of those things are really tough to avoid. It’s been a grind but we’re about 99% caught up now.

The faster y’all can spread the word about our business to your friends, family, and neighbors, the faster we can afford a second truck! Remember, you have a unique referral link in the customer portal that will earn you credit towards your account whenever someone signs up using your link.

UPDATE: As many of you know, our generator is currently down on our pressure washer. I next-day shipped a replacement starter from a distributor out of state, so it should be in by Friday afternoon or evening. We’re hoping we can get it fixed this weekend and be back to business as usual next week. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, especially to those of you who had a one time cleaning scheduled for this week, but it’s one of those things that’s completely out of our control sometimes as long as we only have one truck on the road. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

ATTENTION: Services for today and most likely the remainder of the week will probably be rescheduled. We have been diagnosing an issue with our pressure washer generator that we believe to be a starter that has gone bad so it may be a few days before we can get everything up and running again. We are working diligently to try and get it fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience and will keep you posted as soon as we have a timeline to be up and running again!
