Newfab, Inc. is currently hiring a motivated self-starter with attention to detail and excellent people skills for a Bookkeeper/Assistant to the President position. The ideal candidate will have an accounting/bookkeeping background, be a QuickBooks expert, and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Job Requirements:

Keep records of business transactions for three related companies.
Perform all bookkeeping functions including A/R, A/P, Payroll, Job Costing, inventory control and journal entries required to accurately reflect financial position and performance.
Produce periodic financial reports and present them to management.
Perform human resource administrative functions including hiring, benefits, annual review and terminations.
Greet visitors, answer telephones, determine nature and purpose of contact and handle requests or escort/direct to the requested individual or destination.
Maintain current and archive files of records.
Other duties as assigned.

A New Employee started a few weeks ago. She checked in and gave us a review. Check it out.

So I recently took a new job. It's in a shop about 45 mins for my house which was the main attraction for taking it. The pay is only a few dollars less than what I'm use to but they pay for my benefits so bonus there and since shops usually dont pay crap a few dollars less isnt horrible. I been waiting to say anything because usually I post about a new job and how great it's going to be and then it goes to s**t. Well, at my interview and walk through, I felt totally at home at the place. I told the boyfriend idk I think this may be good. So for the past 2 weeks I been waiting for the other shoe to drop on why it sucks because it really seemed like one of them too good to be true situation but instead every day I go in I'm happier and happier that I took the job. The guys I work with are freaking awesome and even the owners and girl in HR are awesome! When my shift is getting ready to end I'm usually still working instead of waiting by the door like most jobs because I actually enjoy myself here and don't mind staying late. It's freaking awesome to work some where too that you are appreciated and your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone in the shop is like one big family too. I never thought I'd find my place in welding, especially being a woman but I'm happy to say I think I did!! Thank you North East Welding and Fabrication, dba Newfab INC. for this opportunity to be part of your family!
