Shaya supports production planning and helps coordinate the flow of work throughout the shop. Working closely with multiple departments, she helps track priorities, communicate updates, and keep projects moving forward.

One of the demonstrations that caught our attention at IMTS was at the ZEISS booth, where portable 3D scanning and inspection technology was on display.

The ability to quickly capture complex geometries and compare them against CAD models opens up new possibilities for quality control, reverse engineering, and process validation.

After spending a few days at IMTS 2026, our owners, Chris Braniecki and Kelly Vaught, are back in Auburn Hills with plenty of ideas, conversations, and takeaways from the show.

One of the highlights was spending time with equipment builders and technology partners, including seeing impressive demonstrations on Makino machines similar to the DA500 that recently joined our shop floor. The level of precision, surface finish quality, and machining capability on display was remarkable.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with Chris and Kelly throughout the week. We're excited to bring new ideas back to IQ Manufacturing and continue investing in the people, processes, and technology that help us deliver quality machined components to our customers.

Keeping production moving takes more than machines. It takes strong supplier relationships, organization, and attention to detail.

Janice plays a key role in our purchasing department, helping ensure materials, services, and vendor communications stay on track, so our team has what it needs to deliver for our customers. From sourcing and scheduling to coordinating with suppliers, her work supports the day-to-day operations that keep projects moving forward.
