It was our pleasure to host this incredible group of young people last week. They really engaged with our team, led by Ohiole Ake and James Hutchinson, asking great questions not only about our processes and products, but about the auto industry itself.

We look forward to partnering with MichAuto and Square One Education Network again to host another tour in the future!

In celebration of Women's History Month, we would like to acknowledge women at CSP who are making history in their own way. They are exemplary employees who positively impact and make a difference at their respective facilities.

Today, we would like to acknowledge two employees: Kasey Foster and Lirama Monge.

Kasey is a Materials Planning Supervisor at the Huntington, Indiana, facility. Her exceptional attention to detail and deep understanding of materials flow ensure the Huntington facilities’ production schedule remains on track. Her commitment goes above and beyond, highlighted by moments like personally retrieving components from a supplier to prevent a customer short shipment. Whether supporting Huntington or collaborating with other CSP facilities, Kasey consistently shows mastery of her work, proactive communication, and unwavering dedication to doing what is right for the team and CSP’s customers.

Lirama is a Quality Manager at the Tijuana, Mexico, facility. Lirama’s commitment to CSP has been unwavering, with her career at CSP beginning over 20 years ago. She joined the company as an Engineering Jr and quickly moved up to Supplier Quality Engineer within a year of starting. She was then promoted to the Quality Manager position a few years later and has been consistently performing in that position since. Lirama has contributed to many successful launches in her career at CSP. The first was during the 2004 Toyota Tacoma launch, followed by the Nissan tailgate program spanning from 2005-2006. In 2021, Lirama began working on and became a key leader during the Toyota Tacoma 2023 launch. She served as a plant launch leader and worked closely with Program Management and the customer, leading to a successful launch.

Today is the final day of March, meaning today is the final day of Women’s History Month. We are glad we were able to feature some of the many women at CSP who are making a difference daily! We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has contributed to the success of CSP and is making history in their own way. Not just during Women’s History Month, but all year round. We truly appreciate your hard work and dedication!
