This past weekend, HIROTEC hosted our annual Kawate Cup golf outing at Greystone Golf Club, bringing together employees, family members, and friends for a day of friendly competition and connection. Participants competed for the Kawate Cup trophy while enjoying the nice weather, great golf, and memorable moments on the course! The day concluded with a dinner to celebrate and reflect on another successful event. 🏆

The Kawate Cup is named in honor of our former president, Kawate-san, who originally started this tradition. Inspired by his vision and leadership, the outing continues to bring people together year after year. ⛳️

Last week our team spent the morning volunteering with Forgotten Harvest💚🌾

Together, we sorted through an incredible 9,510 pounds of food, helping ensure it reaches families who need it most.

Since 1990, Forgotten Harvest has been rescuing surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, stadiums, and more, redistributing it to local charities, pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. Each day they deliver 144,000 pounds of fresh, nutritious food, and annually provide over 31 million meals to those facing hunger.
