From Northwest Kansas to Alaska, a QuickDraw Lite system is headed north as part of a unique project bringing no-till farming practices and agricultural equipment through the U.S., Canada, and Yukon Territories.

Documented by Quality Drills and AlaskaAgro, the journey spans more than 6,000 miles to help introduce the first John Deere no-till drill into Alaska. From short growing seasons to the challenges of transporting equipment thousands of miles north, the project highlights just how different farming conditions can look across regions. Check out GFX™ Hydraulic Row Cleaners being put to work on Atlantic Tractor’s demo planter during last year’s planting season.

GFX™ uses a frame-mounted trailing arm design to help move residue and maintain cleaner rows for improved seed placement. By isolating row cleaner movement from the planter row unit, the system helps maintain more consistent performance across changing field conditions.
