Established in 1940 by it’s founder Sam Shapiro opening on 9 county St. Here in Attleboro as Eastern Paint & Plumbing Supply. Moving to it’s current location in July 1958 further rooting his established business in the new to him Harding building. Where he served this community till his retirement in 1983 passing the torch to his son Robert Shapiro Who continued on to grow the business into a full hardware and small engine repair shop. Eastern Supply Co. known for it’s hard to find repair parts and outstanding customer service. Continuing on his family’s legacy for over 32 years before retiring in 2015 passing his family’s 75 yr legacy to Paul Ladouceur who started working for the Shapiro family Sept 1983 stocking shelves and helping customers. Paul persuied other work in 1991 in his family’s construction company gaining knolage in all fields of the construction industry. Returning to Eastern Supply in 2004 re-establishing his roots in the community and eager to help his fellow man/woman.

Did you hear about the hillbilly who went into the hardware store to
buy a chain saw ?
He said: "I want one that will cut down at least 10 trees a day."
He was back at the hardware store with the saw a couple days later
complaining that it only cut one tree and that took all day.
The clerk at the hardware store started the saw to see what the
problem was. The hillbilly jumped back and said: "What the hell is that noise?"
