Lamar Walden Automotive We've been building and tuning high performance engines since 1968. Lamar Walden Automotive(LWA) is home to the World's Fastest 409!

LWA is your one stop shop for building horsepower. We have a complete machine shop, an engine dyno, 5-axis CNC machine, four service bays and a Dynojet chassis dyno. We can build a mild engine to an all out Pro Mod engine because we have raced what we build. Owner Lamar Walden raced in NHRA, IHRA, and AHRA Pro Stock while, Lamar's son, Rob Walden raced NMCA and NSCA Pro Street. We currently own #4

Just finished this 509ci “409” engine up for a really good customer and 409 legend himself. Built this engine from the ground up. Intake is custom LWA sheet metal. A set of LWA solid Z-11 heads. BMP aluminum block. Jessel Rockers. Custom 15:1 pistons. GRP aluminum rods with light weight 4340 crank. Custom LWA spec solid roller with LS firing order. 📈
