To our small business owner and small local government friends,
Reading through your posts and hearing the impacts COVID-19 is having on your business – operationally, financially, and emotionally – has been heavy.
Small business owners often are used to being nimble and able to pivot when necessary, but the current circumstances are entirely new and different to most of us. Making the right decisions can be debilitating.
We've wanted to help in so many ways, but didn’t know how, and haven’t known what to say other than to offer solidarity.
Today, through the thought-vortices of our own business, we figured it out.
To any small biz owner or small local government administrators, our Team would be humbled to spend an hour or so supporting you by listening and brainstorming.
Here are some ideas in case this resonates with you:
* Talking through contingency logistics for event rescheduling
* Generating ideas for moving in-person services, events, or storefronts online or over-the-phone
* Reviewing email or web copy for client outreach and reassurance
* Setting up new online platforms with basic tutorials
- Zoom web conferencing platform
- Canva graphic design
- MailChimp email marketing
- ClickUp project management
- Slack team communication
- Loom training videos
* Guidance on airline policies and travel planning
* Reprioritizing biz goals or establishing a new line of biz
* Managing virtual teams
Or, if you have it all covered and just want to have a virtual happy hour and vent session via Zoom, we’ll make that happen!
Please know we're not experts in any of these ideas, but thankfully know many awesome folks who are and would love to make a recommendation or connection if you need more focused support.
We are genuine in the offer to help, so please check in if there’s any way we can be a resource – no charge and no creepy sales pitch.
Please continue to support the small businesses in your community. If they aren’t set up for online operations, consider calling to ask if they can take an order over the phone and package it up for you to make a quick stop.
That sale may mean the difference for them in weathering this COVID-19 storm.
