It was a pleasure to host Dr. Ana Paula Kirchheim at Georgia Tech! Our lab group had the opportunity to share our ongoing research and learn from her expertise in cementitious materials and concrete technology. During her visit, she met with faculty and students and toured our materials characterization facilities and laboratories. Thank you for visiting and for the engaging discussions—we look forward to future collaborations!

Great research team visit to ’s impressive R&D center just outside Atlanta. We shared an overview of our group’s work on data‑centered approaches for innovation and translation of complex blended cements, along with multi‑scale materials testing and characterization capabilities at Georgia Tech. Looking forward to continued interaction and new collaborations.

Thank you Charles Cornman, Mikhail Khudiakov, Kevin Rhudy, Scott Hanson, Bing Tian, David Wingard, Ph.D., Anton Razgoniaev, PhD, Patrick Eckman, and Abdul Basit Peerzada for the outstanding welcome!

Spring 2026 recap from our lab at Georgia Institute of Technology 💡

A semester full of group meetings, research updates, and plenty of discussions that kept everyone moving forward 📊

One of the best parts was our concrete mix days—whenever someone needed help for their project, the whole group came together to batch, mix, cast, and test. A true team effort every time 💪🧱
