“In 2017, Nan, an Atlanta native, lost her father and her leg in a jet ski accident. She spent her senior year of high school relearning how to walk, leaning on her faith, and working toward her goal of attending the University of Georgia.” Shamrock is honored to be a part of her story!

Here is a testimony from the Move for Grady 5K where one of our patients, Rob Jimenez, shared:

“Doing this 5K was by far the toughest challenge I’ve ever done while being an amputee with a spinal cord injury but it is also my biggest accomplishment ever! So many times I wanted to stop and finish the race in my chair and I know there wouldn’t have been any shame in doing so but I know deep down inside it would have discouraged me, so I did not allow myself to sit in the chair. I’m super proud of myself for achieving this goal.”
