The hands behind the work. 💙

Some days it’s a forklift and a truck full of new equipment. Some days it’s a crane lifting a unit off a trailer. Plenty of days it’s a tight utility room or the top of a ladder.

Same crew, same care, wherever the job is. Dixon’s has been family owned in Athens, Illinois since 1996.

And then there’s Murphy, our shop supervisor. Nobody has told him he’s not actually in charge.

Beta testing Elon’s new tech on the Dixon’s service truck. 🚀

He said it would cut our service time in half. Didn’t mention we’d spend half the trip upside down.

Your comfort has real people behind it. 💙

A look through the Dixon’s photo archive: hands at work in our shop, custom metalwork made to fit the job, and Derek and Brody out in the field. These are moments from different jobs, with the same local care behind them.

From heating and air conditioning to custom fabrication, we’re proud of the people behind the work—and grateful to the Central Illinois neighbors who trust us with their homes and businesses.

Need help with your home or business? Call Dixon’s at (217) 636-7934.

Built here. Installed there.

Some of what we install never comes off a shelf. Our crew bends and finishes custom metal right in our own shop, from louvers to copper flashing. Swipe from the shop floor to the job.

Need something made to fit? Call (217) 636-7934.

Before and after, two ways.

First, an older condenser our crew swapped out for a new Daikin outdoor unit. Then a coil that didn’t need replacing at all. It just needed a good cleaning.

Not sure what yours needs? Heating season is here, and a fall inspection can identify maintenance needs before winter demand increases. Give us a call at (217) 636-7934.

Breeze is back for another run! 🐭🏁

Dixon’s is proud to sponsor our mouse, Breeze, again in the Athens Post Prom Mouse Race Fundraiser. We’re happy to support our local students—and a little friendly competition for a good cause!

Thank you to Jen Rhoades and all the volunteers who put their time and heart into making this happen for the kids.

Go, Breeze, go! 💚

The work matters. The people we do it for matter even more.

From furnace replacements and AC repairs to commercial installations and custom metalwork, we take pride in doing the job right—and being the people you can count on when you need us.

This is a little look at the work, the crew, and the care behind the Dixon’s name. Our four-legged shop supervisor even made an appearance. 🐾

Since 1996, we’ve been serving Athens and our Central Illinois neighbors. To everyone who has called us, recommended us, or trusted us with their home or business: thank you. You’re the reason we get to keep doing what we love.
