Here is the evolution of my most recent hammer.

It is a Japanese style dog head hammer, forged from 1045 and hung on a machiche handle.
What do you guys think of this hammer? What could I be doing better?

Giant handforged leaf!
I started this leaf about a year ago with the goal to make the largest leaf I could. I started with one inch square stock. I got 85% of the way done with it before I stopped and never picked it up to finish it. A year later and here it is.

This is a 3-4 lb rounding hammer that I forged with michael hoops over the summer. Between not having any handle material and going off to school I never got a chance to put a handle on it and it sat getting rusty on my workbench. I finally got some handle material and I could hang it. The handle is Machiche.
