Even before a load in "in the air", there is so many things that need to happen before beginning a project.
Here is a pre-Lift Checklist:
π Permits & Logistics: Secure NYC Street Closing Permits and coordinate with DOT/Expediter services.
π Engineering: Finalize all PE, MTA, and engineered drawings for a settled lift plan.
π Safety Teams: Deploy Certified Flaggers, Flagmen, and Pedestrian Managers to secure the perimeter.
βοΈ Equipment Prep: Inspect the specialized mechanical shifting equipment, cables, and hooks.
π Fleet Selection: Ensure the right truck-mounted crane is locked in, with options ranging from 5 Ton to 600 Ton.
π· Master Rigger Oversight: Confirm the Master Rigger has reviewed the Statement of Work (SOW), schedules, and safety diagrams.
Ex*****on is only as good as the preparation behind it. Behind every smooth lift is a meticulous plan that started long before the crane ever arrived on site. πͺπΌ
