Astoria auto wrecking and recycling is looking for a reliable, self-motivated person to operate various hand, tools and equipment, process various scrap metals and perform customer service.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, punctual and able to handle a fast pace, work environment.
Job duties include but are not limited to: performing all tasks necessary and preparing metal loads to be shipped out and assisting customers unloading and loading scrap metal.
Experience with physically, demanding jobs would be a strong preference.

The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic; be a multitasker with outstanding customer service who is experienced with excel, word, outlook, QuickBooks and cash handling.

Knowledge in metal recycling or the trucking industry would be strongly preferred.

Tuesday-Saturday 8AM-5PM.

$15-30/HR-DOE.
