Full-time Quality and Safety Coordinator, Part-time Author! We're proud to announce that one of our own, Michael Paoletta, has released his first book. Though it's not about conveyance, it's about an important journey of his own and how it contributes to his everyday life.
A note from Michael -
"As passionate as I am about Quality Control and Safety, my favorite things in this world are my family, fishing, and writing. All of those things collided in 2019 when we were told that my father was diagnosed with Stage Four Adenocarcinoma, a specific type of lung cancer. He survived only five months from his initial diagnosis. As sad as it was to lose the man that I considered to be my role model and best friend, his story was not one filled with sorrow. Instead, we spent those five short months as a family, making as many memories as possible. His struggle and his loss, but more importantly, his will to live life to the maximum potential inspired me to write a book. It is called Beyond The Cast: Life, Fishing, and The Knots That Tie Them Together. It chronologically describes the events that occurred during that five-month period, but also shares stories of the times that we spent fishing together, and how I was able to utilize the lessons he taught me during those trips to help him, my family, and myself navigate this tumultuous tie. I hope these stories and lessons will inspire others to live their lives to the fullest and assist them through the dark times that we all inevitably endure."
