This afternoon, Tim Williams and Andrew Reese of ARM Group presented to engineering students at Messiah University on the topic of “solar engineering and permitting for civil and environmental engineers”. It was a great interactive class, and we hope we piqued the interest for some budding engineers to pursue the growing solar industry.

ARM welcomes Morteza Akbari who is joining us as a Project Engineer I based in the Ashland, VA office in the Civil & Survey Practice Area. Morteza has more than 7 years’ experience as a water and wastewater engineer and has performed hydraulic calculations, design reports, bills of quantity, equipment sizing and selection, technical specification review, design drawing review, test procedures and start-up of wastewater treatment plants, and was an environmental lab quality controller. He received his B.Sc. Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from Poly Technique University, Kabul, Afghanistan.

When Morteza is not working, he enjoys watching movies, and playing chess.

We are deeply saddened to share the news that our beloved coworker and friend, Ashley Waller, has passed away. She was a dedicated and valuable member of the Resource family for over 27 years and will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Ashley’s family and friends during this tragic time.

We invite you to join us in paying our respects and honoring the memory of Ashley. Below are the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the ASPCA in Ashley’s honor. Rest in Peace, Ashley.
