Knowing Medicaid work requirements are coming does not mean members are ready.

We work directly with Medicaid members as they navigate coverage and access to care. That experience prompted us to ask whether members know how to prepare for upcoming work requirements.

In our survey, 63% of Medicaid respondents knew the requirements were coming, but 44% were not prepared to submit the required documentation.

For health plans, the challenge is not simply telling members that a change is coming.

Members need clear, state-specific guidance on whether they may be affected, what actions to take and when.

Supporting working moms includes giving them a safe, comfortable place to pump.

In an Aeroflow Breastpumps survey, 44% of moms reported inadequate pumping spaces.

To help address that gap, we are expanding our Pumping Room Makeover initiative with five $2,000 makeover packages nationwide, plus a $10,000 pumping room transformation in the Asheville area.

Our Aeroflow Breastpumps team recently volunteered to assemble maternal health kits for MAHEC Continuing Education's rural clinics in Western North Carolina and its Centering Pregnancy program.

Through the Centering Pregnancy program, expectant families receive individual prenatal checkups and have time to discuss pregnancy, birth, and parenting with providers and one another.

The kits include educational materials, blood pressure cuffs, and glucose testing supplies.

Postpartum recovery extends far beyond the hospital stay.
