This union will create an employee-owned industry leader, strengthening both firms’ capabilities in planning, engineering, construction administration, and municipal support for clients across the Southeast and beyond.

As part of this merger, LPA’s employees will join CDC’s 100-percent employee-owned structure (ESOP), reinforcing a shared commitment to long-term growth, innovation, and client success. Holiday Party Highlights at The Draftsman

We had a great time celebrating the season with our team at The Draftsman inside the Restoration Hotel in downtown Asheville. Amazing space, great atmosphere, and even better company.

The afternoon featured employee bingo, plenty of laughs, and a competitive Skee-Ball Tournament. Huge shoutout to Dakota Sharpe, our Skee-Ball Tournament Champion, for rolling his way to victory!

Our team was hard at work the night before delivering holiday gifts for the team—with Jason Pass helping “pass” the goods. Each team member received a Turtlebox Speaker, a small thank-you for a big year of hard work.

A big thanks to The Draftsman for hosting us in such a great downtown Asheville space.

Cheers to teamwork, a strong finish to the year, and heading into the holidays together.

Big thanks to Vannoy Construction for stopping by yesterday and treating our team to lunch! We had a great time hanging out with some of their key Asheville folks and getting into the holiday spirit together.

Last week our whole team came together for one of our favorite traditions — supporting the amazing youth at Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families.

We’ve partnered with the Home for over a decade, from helping craft their Master Plan to supporting projects like their retreat center, thrift store, coffee shop, and RV park. It’s a relationship we value deeply, and this year’s holiday giving was yet another reminder of why.

Instead of simply writing a check, our team hit the stores (and Amazon carts!) to shop for more than 23 children and teens. On December 4th, we gathered for our annual Wrap Party — complete with pizza, holiday punch, holiday music, and plenty of tape, bows, and laughter.

Last year, our team completed a comprehensive Asset & Inventory Assessment (AIA) for the Lake Junaluska Assembly’s water system — a project funded through an NCDEQ grant. From GIS mapping and field verification to condition assessments and risk analysis, the study gives the Assembly a clear picture of its existing infrastructure and a practical roadmap for future improvements.

Supporting communities through grant-funded planning work is one of the most meaningful things we do. We’re proud to help Lake Junaluska position its water system for long-term reliability and resilience.
