We’re looking to add a Laser Operator to grow with our team!


Data Metalcraft is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded cabinets used in fiber communications, power grids, and industrial products. Our products utilize a broad range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.

We are looking for an individual who is familiar with Amada Fiber Lasers and is self-motivated to ensure jobs are completed and on time.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift – Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m-1:30 a.m. (4x10)

Job duties:

loading programs
Ensuring correct material is used
loading sheets
unloading parts
part counts
deburring parts
part labeling and stacking
trouble shooting laser issues
Qualifications

CNC Machinery experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with using precision tools
Basic computer and math knowledge

Talk about a great Friday!

We got together today for a SOUPer Bowl luncheon. We enjoyed some camaraderie and great soups!

Thank goodness we had the weather we had last weekend instead of today's frigid cold for Arlidazzle!

We're so thankful for all who stopped by to warm up with a bowl of soup and conversation by the fire. What a great crew we have! And what a treat to have a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus!

As always, the people really show up big for this small town Christmas celebration!

Job Title: Turret Punch Press Operator
Job Summary: A turret punch press operator at Data Metalcraft, Inc. plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of customer product per the customer’s specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-Reading and understanding blueprints
-Identifying materials to be used in production
-Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
-Checking finished work to make sure it falls within tolerances marked on the blueprints
-Communicate with supervisor, management, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues
-Follow company procedures and directives
-Maintain the equipment, tooling, and safety gear used to create sheet metal products
-Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
-Follow company procedures and directives

Qualifications and Skills
Good communication skills
Knowledge of metallurgy
Knowledge of turret punch press operation
Ability to interpret technical documentation
Basic computer skills
Able to work well within a team environment
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
