Good morning 🌞
As some of you may have noticed, I have a variety of signs. There's an OPEN sign, I am aware I forget to turn at times. I have one at the front counter that tells you where I may be or when I'll be back. No specific time given, just 'in a moment ' 😆. Just know I will return. As well as funny signs to hopefully make you smile. Well, I have a new sign.
If you see that I'm not up front and I have the sign that says ' I'm in the back'. There is a COW BELL next to the back door. Please RING that BELL. It's difficult to hear the front door chime when I'm working in the back. So I needed a little assistant. Simply ring the bell.
Please don't be embarrassed to do so. It's easier than looking for me 😁. Thanks for your help.

*Side note. Ring bell, but let's not go crazy and make it sound like your calling the cows in for dinner 😆.

I asked Alexa to play cheerful music. Man that girl must be going through some tough times cause the music she chose was not cheerful. I asked her what the heck she was playing and her response was to suggest another station. Um. Alexa. Are you ok? Cause her suggestion turned out to be a very melancholy mix. Im a 90s kid and my version of cheerful must be way outdated 😆. But regardless 😁 I always try to have a good playlist going on here at the hardware store. Where the mood may not always be 100% cheerful but it won't be Alexa melancholy cheerful 😬.

Today is International Tea Day. So I hope you sat this morning in your favorite chair or space, sipping your cup of tea. Where you planned your day with best intentions in mind to do as much as you could. Perhaps you even planned a second cup of tea just because it was such a beautiful morning. Tea is nice.
Did you know that " tea" can also signify juicy news or personal information? Well. Here's the tea. The hardware store. Yea the one behind the Arivaca Mercantile. Well, My cousin's sister's friend, you know her, she has that funny laugh and fell asleep that one time in the mashed potatoes. Well, she said that we have new items and they were, in her words " awesome" .
Just saying. That's today's tea. Sip it lightly cause it's hot. 😆

It takes perseverance doesn't it?
Its that time of year again. When both young and old graduate from their perspective schools.
Little ones going off into kindergarten. They have done their share of work. We may not think of them as having it as hard as someone moving into high school. But their little brains had to figure some new things out. Kudos to them!
Middle school to high school. Its a difficult time for them. They are trying to discover themselves and now to be a freshman. The title says it all, freshman. You will do great. Try not to drive your parents too crazy.
High school graduates. My best wishes to you my lovelies. You have done so much and the world has expectations that seem cruel and unreasonable. You are capable of so many wonderful things. Keep your head up and know that YOU are WORTH trying your very best.
So anyone that is graduating from tech schools, academies, collage or any other field. It takes perseverance doesn't it? The willingness to go past the scary parts and find out that you were capable. It was you. You did that and the other thing and triumphed.
Who encouraged you? Who told you you could do it? Who held your hand and said, " you are doing great" , " keep it up" ," Don't give up"," I know its hard". I am so proud of you" Please give them a smile and a humble Thank you.

Someone left this pallet in front of the store. I believe it's from the Human Resource. I have no use for it. Perhaps this was a misunderstanding? Any who if you could kindly take it back. Or if Arivaca Human Resource Group is ok with it, someone can take it home.

I did a road clean up on Friday afternoon for the Hardware store. I decided to do the clean up on my own.

First of all. If you're going to walk make sure you wear the appropriate shoes. Even if you don't like the style or look. It's all about safety. They may prevent you from getting a thorn from going straight through the bottom of your shoe and into your foot 😫.
A good playlist is also a must.

2 miles / total 3 - 5 gallon trash bags.
Findings:
2 crash sights. Multiple heavy items found including a skateboard, synthetic slabs of marble and a front bumper
*Someone or multiple people really like McDonald's. Like a lot 😆
* Y'all need more rest or something cause there was a lot of energy drinks. Of various types.
* There was a battle of Bush and Coors cans. Dos XX and Corona wanted nothing to do with it. Bud light was gossiping about it.
* Barbie had enough of Ken and his heavy drinking and gum popping so she hacked him up and left his arms on the side of the road. An investigation continues to locate his missing remains 😳.
* Happy news! There was a significant drop in cigarette butts! So perhaps that explains the energy drink intake? 🧐
After I was all done cleaning up, 2 Arivaca visitors with boats took mile 5 curve too hard and flipped one of their boats? When they left, they didn't pick up their trash on the side of the road. Unfortunately there really isn't a safe space to park around that area in order to clean it up. I will do another attempt.

I hope you're all having a refreshing week. It's been reasonable weather for projects. Well, unless you've been trying to work on a roof. That may be a different story. Stay safe if you are working on a roof. Or any project. Which leads me to letting you all know that,

I'm gonna state the obvious and say, holy moly is it windy 🌬️🌪️
Today is International Dark Sky Week. So when the lights go down the universe puts on a show. Everyone is invited to rediscover the night and learn why darkness is worth protecting. Has anyone seen the new photos of the moon?! It's beautiful! I believe Arivaca has some wonderful night views.
