Having a solid plan and seeing it through at every step was the key to success with this transmission module mount we manufactured for a customer in the robotics industry. Because manufacturing consisted of multiple operations, our work plan ensured that the right equipment was available when needed and the project stayed on schedule. Forming the geometry and features of this transmission mount involved both CNC lathe work and vertical milling. We performed a series of quality checks after plating to verify that the finished parts met the customer’s specification.
